Although landscapes aren’t the first thing that comes to my mind when I start a painting they inevitably “show up”

I feel very fortunate to live in British Columbia where there is an abundance of beauty to draw from every single day.

This particular piece was inspired by a recent drive to the Comox Valley which has some lovely old barns and beautiful fields dappled by sunlight
