Italian Jewelry...how did that happen?

You may be wondering…”how did she end up importing Italian jewelry, I thought her deal was Interior Design?”

It’s true….for the past 35 years, interior design has definitely been “my thing” and happily, it still is.

But…I started thinking about the jewelry line in October of 2022. As you may or may not know, I have a major crush on Italy. At the end of Covid lock downs I promised myself that I would commit to visiting Italy spring and fall for as long as it’s possible. i’m hoping until my mid eighties (or longer, so… October of 2022 I celebrated my 60th birthday on the Amalfi Coast. Given that it was my birthday, I indulged in a few little presents to Me (shocking!) lol

Two of the pieces ( a bracelet and a ring) that I purchased received sooo many compliments, sooo much attention that I decided to contact the company in Italy to see whether they had “Canadian representation”, and if not, would they be interested in providing me with exclusivity? As it turns out, they were enthusiastic about that…so i placed my very first order in the Spring of 2023 with the intention of slowly acquiring retailers across the country. Slowly, because I’m still in the midst of numerous large renovation projects with clients as well as painting like a mad woman (a body of work) as they say in the art world”

Along with the number of gushy compliments the jewelry was receiving, there was another reason for importing the jewelry, this one a little more practical. In February I was traveling to California to visit a friend, before i even boarded the plane my car was broken into, my luggage was stolen and all of my favorite jewelry gone with it. Sooo….10”s of thousands of dollars, some great memories, and pieces that i wouldn’t be able to easily replicate…led me to “I’m never traveling with expensive jewelry again” but, lets face it…i’m not exactly the kind of gal that’s going to travel without any baubles at all! Where’s the fun in that?

So that’s it…Light weight, colorful, fun, hypo-allergenic, affordable, and.…it doesn’t set of the security at the airport! I hope everyone enjoys this fantastic line of 3D printed jewelry, designed and manufactured in italy as much as I do! :)
